Laser Cutting
Precise and efficient with a clean, smooth edge finish, laser cutting allows faster set ups and reduces waste, making it a cost effective way to cut metal.
We have an in-house cutting capacity of 3000 mm x 1500 mm, including mild steel to 20 mm, stainless steel to 10 mm, aluminium to 8 mm, titanium and high tensile steel.
Sheet Metal Folding
We fold stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel and other alloys to create precise angles and shapes without compromising the integrity of the material.
Our CNC Pressbrake machinery has a three metre folding capacity, allowing us to create parts from small brackets to large enclosures and everything in between.
Welding
With both TIG and MIG welding capabilities, we can select the best option for each project. TIG welding is ideal for high precision and finishing on thin gauge metals such as aluminium or stainless.
MIG welding is ideal for working with thicker materials needing strong, robust joins.

Luke Irvine is the kind of guy that just makes things happen.
A mechanic by trade, Luke was making components for cars and trailers and found himself frustrated with poor communication, unreliable service and long lead times from metal fabricators and manufacturers.
So what does a guy like Luke do when something isn’t quite good enough? Do it himself, and do it better.
In 2022 he bought a three-kilowatt fiber laser cutting machine and put it in a warehouse in Pukekohe to manufacture his own stuff – hoping to pick up a few clients to make the business viable.
And now? He has customers in the mechanical, agricultural, manufacturing, engineering and marine industries, from Pukekohe to Silverdale, with shipping New Zealand wide. And a growing team from mechanics to sign writers and graphic designers – giving Lasertech a diversity of practical industry experience.
